Over time, the NDIS will provide around $22 billion in funding each year to support approximately 500,000 Australians. For many, this is the first time they are receiving the support they need.
The NDIS also connects people with useful services in their community, such as doctors, support groups, schools, libraries, and sports clubs. It also provides information about services available through state and territory governments.
